Fresh roasted coffee has intense flavor but also emits gas which explodes air tight bags
or cans. On each bag of Kona Joe, you will find a small one way gas valve.
The one way valve allows these gases to escape, so we can package the coffee immediately
after roasting and preserve freshness.
